Volunteer Perks!
Volunteering can give a profound sense of community, and purpose. We volunteer, not for any sort of recognition or praise, but because doing good is part of who we are. At Three Rivers we recognize that you are giving your time and adding miles to your vehicles.
We understand that not everyone may be interested in more tangible perks of volunteering with us. Volunteers do what they do, not for their own benefit but for the benefit of someone else. Because of our volunteers, we are able to reach more older adults, with more programs, that do more to make their lives easier.
We are constantly finding ways to bring in new volunteers and new benefits for those volunteers should they want them. If you are 55 or older and interested in learning more about mileage reimbursement or getting supplemental medical coverage while volunteering visit:

AmeriCorps Seniors volunteers receive free supplemental insurance, including personal liability, accident, and excess automobile liability while serving in your volunteer assignment.
Volunteer travel reimbursement is provided for mileage from the volunteers’ home to the location where they will be volunteering, and the return trip to their home. The maximum reimbursement per month is $25.00 and is issued on a quarterly basis.
